Duplex Apartment Interior

This duplex apartment was designed for a client based in Abu Dhabi as a comfortable and contemporary home for his children. Having previously designed the family's earlier apartment, we were approached once again when they decided to move into a larger duplex residence, allowing us to continue the design journey while responding to their evolving lifestyle.

The defining feature of the project is the sculptural staircase, designed with a custom curved 3D glass railing that creates a striking visual centrepiece within the home. At the time, sourcing and fabricating such a complex element proved challenging due to the limited number of vendors capable of executing the design. Through extensive coordination, detailed drawings, and close collaboration with specialist fabricators, the feature was successfully realised while preserving the original design intent.

The remaining interiors were designed with a contemporary language that balances elegance, functionality, and everyday comfort. The completed home reflects careful craftsmanship and attention to detail, with the staircase becoming both an architectural statement and the defining identity of the residence.
