Thyme was envisioned as a contemporary fine dining restaurant that balances industrial character with refined hospitality. The design language combines exposed structural elements, textured materials, and warm finishes to create an atmosphere that feels sophisticated, inviting, and timeless.

A defining architectural intervention was the deliberate puncturing of the existing floor slab to establish a direct service connection with the microbrewery located above. This move was both functional and experiential, allowing freshly brewed beer to be served directly on tap while celebrating the brewing process as part of the dining experience. Exposed service lines and ductwork become integral design elements, reinforcing the restaurant's industrial identity without compromising elegance.

The interiors are carefully planned to create intimate dining experiences through booth seating, subtle spatial divisions, and layered material transitions. Upholstered banquettes soften the exposed masonry palette, while mirrors enhance spatial depth by reflecting light and activity throughout the restaurant. Carefully composed lighting creates focal points above dining tables while maintaining a warm ambient glow. The resulting space integrates architectural innovation with operational efficiency, where every design decision contributes to an engaging and memorable dining experience.
